DESCRIPTION

The following positions with Pacific Radiance are open for applications:

1. MARKETING EXECUTIVE

Job Description

  • Responsible for clients enquiries, prepare quotations, tenders, cost estimates and negotiation contracts for conclusion
  • Process sales order for charter execution
  • Administration and coordination of chartering/operations of vessels
  • Handles enquiries on sale and purchase of vessels
  • Conducting surveys, market research and market analysis
  • Follow up with Charters/Accounts department on accounts receivables/collection
  • Develop good working relationship with clients and new business
  • Any other duties as assigned

Applicant Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Marketing or related fields, preferably with at least 3 years' relevant work experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Candidate must be willing to travel frequently for customer visits, trade fairs, vessel inspection and work overtime as and when required
  • Preferably candidate with Maritime, Offshore and Chartering experience

2. TECHNICAL ASSISTANT

Responsible for the technical documentation, requisition, planned maintenance (Bassnet) aspect of the assigned vessel

Job Description

  • Assist a team of 7 technical/electrical superintendents
  • Technical knowledge in vessel machinery, equipment and system is preferred but not mandatory
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Keep track of vessel’s requisitions
  • Keep track of vessel’s specifications and modifications, if any
  • Liaise with commercial department on data requirement by charterers
  • Monitoring ships' PMS, documentation and records
  • Manage and monitor fleet critical spares as directed
  • Work closely with technical superintendent(s) on all vessel data collection
  • File monthly reports in a systematic manner
  • Undertake any other Technical related assignments as and when required

Applicant Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience is preferred
  • Some knowledge in vessel machinery, equipment and system is preferred
  • Must be independent and a willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of planned maintenance system is an advantage
  • Opportunity to convert to technical superintendent

3. FINANCE MANAGER - BASED IN ABU DHABI

Overall in-charge of the Abu Dhabi office’s financial reporting and accounting function, including governance, technical, operation and transactional matters

Job Description

  • Responsible for accounting, taxation, statutory reporting/audit
  • Manage Finance team for reporting, accounting, transactional and operating areas;
  • Review of financial information and analytics to support management decision making;
  • Ensure consistent accounting policies and uniformity of accounting treatment and processes for the Abu Dhabi’s office.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to management at set intervals;
  • Ensuring adequate and appropriate internal controls are in place
  • Oversee financial, transactional and operational areas;
  • Officer-in-charge for taxation matters;
  • Responsible for the financial projection and budgeting function for operating units;
  • Oversee accounts receivables and payables function
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing to Customers, and timely collection of receivables
  • Handle day-to-day issues arising from External and Internal Customers
  • Report on monthly basis: Aging totals, Invoicing totals and Forecasting cash receipts to support financial planning
  • Review Aging Report and follow up with Customer/Commercial/ Management
  • Review methods, procedures and system of accounts receivable function to improve efficiency
  • ERP Super-user and Key-user for the Finance function

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist the Group Financial Controller in assigned projects
  • Any other duties assigned by Management

Applicant Requirements

  • Bachelor (Hons) in Accountancy or CPA designation
  • Minimum 5 years of audit background & excellent track record of finance management
  • Must be willing to base in Middle East office
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented;
  • Time sensitive, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Motivated and self-starter;
  • Able to take ownership of areas of responsibility and enterprise matters;
  • Be able to proficiently use SAP

Working Conditions

  • Based in Abu Dhabi
  • Some travel required to business units located outside home base

4. OPERATIONS SUPERINTENDENT

Responsible for providing operational support required for the fleet assigned by being the main liaison between customers, vessels and technical superintendents.

Job Description

  • Support day to day operation requirement of vessel, such as. Appointing and working with agents for port clearance, arrange fuel and water replenishment, arrange port services such as garbage and waste disposal, ensure voyage planning, coordinating vessel movement between charterer and vessel, provide daily reports to respective stakeholders and other logistic and co-ordination activities.
  • Attend to customer queries and request with regards to operation matters.
  • Monitor utilization of vessel and document off-hire for verification and commercial purposes.
  • Participate in tender exercise by providing operation data.
  • Ensure fleet operations conform to company policies, procedures and respective rules and regulations applicable to area of operations.
  • Ensure crew recruitment processes are adhere to, in particular the initial interview and verification for language proficiency.
  • Document and monitor KPI of vessels’ in-field operations performance.
  • Ensure shipboard records such as tow gear, stores and equipment / appliances inventory up to date.
  • Monitor tow gear usage and plan replacement.
  • Support commercial in bid tender and project work.
  • Ensure trading documents are up to date.
  • Monitor radio accounts and communication cost.
  • Assist HSSEQ in incident / accident investigation
  • Prepare, monitor and control budget for vessels’ operations.
  • Attend to 3rd party inspections, such as suitability, OVID, warranty, etc.
  • Conduct shipboard audit (ISM, ISPS) and technical inspection (VTIA).
  • Ensure deck department planned maintenance is executed according to planned maintenance system.

Applicant Requirements

  • Diploma in Nautical Studies or equivalent qualification.
  • Candidate with managing OSV vessels will be an added advantage

5. ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE EXECUTIVE

Responsible for the accounts receivable function for the Group

Job Description

  • Handle billing and invoicing for external customers and inter-company transactions, to ensure timely invoicing to Customers
  • Generate statement of accounts on a monthly and ad-hoc basis
  • Ensure all monies due are collected promptly
  • Handle day-to-day issues arising from External and Internal Customers
  • Liaise with commercial and marketing team on billing matters
  • Report on weekly basis: Cash receipts
  • Report on monthly basis: Aging reports, Invoicing totals and Forecasting cash receipts to support financial planning
  • Review Aging Report and follow up with Customer/Commercial/Management
  • Prepare quarterly GST reporting for Group companies

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist the Group Finance Manager in assigned Accounts Receivables projects
  • Ad-hoc reporting as requested by Management
